Swanton Morley has grown considerably over the past thirty years, and the village now has a wide range of housing — from flint-faced older cottages near the church to large detached homes on more recent developments — all of which need proper roofline maintenance.
The older properties around Church Road and the village core often have deep overhanging eaves with wide soffits that were originally timber. Once these start to rot, starlings and sparrows quickly find their way into the roof void. We seal and replace these boards properly, fitting continuous soffit venting where required to meet current standards and prevent condensation in the loft.
On the newer estates, the original guttering is often undersized or has developed leaks at the unions. We carry full ranges of OG, half-round and square-line profiles so we can match existing systems on estate homes without replacing the whole run unnecessarily. Swanton Morley is just off the A1075, which puts us about ten minutes from our Dereham yard.
